League of Legends' next title update is on the horizon and there are a few things worth talking about. Viego is going to get nerfed - finally - and there's going to be some key changes to Lucian and Amumu. We've got everything you need to know about the update and when to expect it below.

When does League's 11.17 Update drop?

Season 11's next update is due to be released right on schedule - meaning we should expect it on August 25th - at the following times:

  • 03:00 PST - NA
  • 03:00 CET - EUNE
  • 05:00 BST - EUW
  • 08:00 KST - Korea

Each League of Legends regional server is updated at a different time, so make sure you're aware of what time your local server is going to be updated. There's going to be a couple of hours of Server Downtime when the patching starts, too - This could last a while.

Matchmaking and Competitive queues are expected to be disabled three hours before the times stated above. This should mean everyone's in and out of their games before the Server Downtime.
