Lol Worlds Grand Finals Qualified Teams

The League of Legends Worlds Grand Final this year has everything you could ever want. Rookies face off against veterans, and a true underdog has made it all the way. Here's what's in store.

Qualified Team 1 - T1

T1, with Faker at the helm, is a team that hardly needs an introduction. Fielding a fairly new team, with top laner Zeus in his rookie year, they stormed LCK spring. They were the first team to go undefeated for a split, and even though they fell short to GenG in summer, they've ramped back up quickly at Worlds.

The last time that T1 came to Worlds in North America, they took home the title, and Faker will be looking for his 4th this year. That would land him with the most of any player ever, finally breaking the tie with his former teammate, Bengi.

Qualified Team 2 - DRX

DRX is a team that no-one expected to make it this far. Their qualification for finals marks the first time that a play-in team, or a 4th seed, makes it so far in Worlds. With a team hungry for the title, rookies and veterans alike, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Zeka has led the team from the front in the mid-lane. Relatively unknown before this tournament, his play on Sylas and Akali has taken down Scout and Chovy, and only one titan remains - Faker.

His teammate Deft, now in his historic 7th Worlds, is looking to finally secure the title. Schoolmates with Faker, he was knocked out in Quarters by T1 last year, and is out for revenge.
