Take-Two held an earnings call recently and, once again, Grand Theft Auto remasters were among the talking points.

Whether it is San Andreas, Vice City, GTA 4, or GTA 5... It's safe to say that Grand Theft Auto games are extremely popular.

They often top the sales charts well-after launch and are among some of the highest-rated titles in the industry.

With this popularity, as you might imagine, comes a demand for remakes and remasters alongside new titles.

So, when asked about the possibility of any news regarding Grand Theft Auto Remasters, Take-Two Interactive's CEO answered cryptically...

"A Good Question..."

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick responded to a question on the possibility of a GTA remaster with the following statement:

"I’d say it’s a great and encouraging question. I’m kind of inclined to leave it more as a statement than a question. And any updates on our release schedule will come from Rockstar Games."

Is this just dodging the question, or does it mean something more?

REMASTER? - Would you want to see San Andreas remastered?

It's hard to say at the moment. Zelnick would know that anything he said would be dissected by the press and we can imagine that he often chooses his words very carefully.

Rather than give us any information, however, he deferred to Rockstar Games and stated that any updates would come from them.

Either this is an honest lack of knowledge, or Zelnick shining a light on Rockstar Games ahead of an announcement that might be on the way...

Next-Gen GTA 4?

Rumours have been circulating for a while that Grand Theft Auto 4 could be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X at some point in the future.

Although there is no official word on this, could we be seeing Nico Bellic gracing our next-gen consoles soon?

A little while ago, someone spotted a leaked listing on Amazon for Grand Theft Auto 4: The Complete Edition.

LEAK - Could we see GTA 4 back in 4K?

One thing that makes this leak promising is that it features a newly-designed cover. Usually, a fake leak doesn't do this.

If true, we could be seeing GTA 4 in "stunning 4K", with haptic feedback for the PS5's Dualsense Controller.

The comments by Take-Two's CEO seem to suggest that something is going on... At the very least, it is an acknowledgement that there is a demand for these titles.

But, we think it could mean something more...
