Rockstar Games might not go as hard as they used to on Halloween, but that doesn't mean there's nothing going on in GTA Online for the next couple of weeks. There are Slashers roaming the streets, Phantom Cars chasing you off the roads, and Peyote Plants are back! Here's every known Peyote Plant location and everything else you need to know about them.
Peyote Plants - Everything you need to know
Peyote Plants are a pick-up in GTA Online that turn you into an animal for a short period of time. We know that sounds bizarre, but that's what they do!
There are only 59 Peyote Plants in GTA Online nowadays, despite there being more in previous appearances. However, that's more than enough when you consider what they do and the lobby sizes in play in GTA Online.
When you pick up a Peyote Plant, you'll turn into one of the following animals for a short period of time:
- Land animals & birds:
- Boar
- Border Collie
- Cat
- Chicken
- Cougar
- Great Cormorant
- Coyote
- Cow
- Crow
- Elk
- Husky
- Pig
- Pigeon
- Poodle
- Pug
- Rabbit
- Golden Retriever
- Rottweiler
- Seagull
- West Highland Terrier
- Sea creatures:
- Dolphin
- Fish
- Hammerhead shark
- Killer Whale
- Stingray
- Tiger Shark
They take around 24 in-game hours to respawn and when your time as an animal is up, you'll respawn at the nearest hospital and get 5000 RP. The type of animal you get is largely randomised, but they will be local to the area in which you pick up the Peyote Plant - this gives you some wiggle room if you're looking for a specific animal.

If you want to transform into Chop, Franklin's dog, you'll need to head to his "backyard" and find the Peyote Plant there. Similarly, the Peyote Plant at the base of Mount Chiliad should transform you into Bigfoot for a bit.
