Where to find Mourning Flower in Genshin Impact

With version 3.6 of Genshin Impact, we got a new character Kaveh, which requires the Mourning Flower for ascension. Today we will look at where to find Mourning Flower in Genshin Impact so that you can have Kahev reach his full potential.

The Mourning Flower can be found only in the Girdle of the Sands, which is a new part of the Sumeru region also released in version 3.6 of Genshin Impact. So let’s look at the Mourning Flower locations and some farming routes for you to ascend Kaveh as quickly as possible.

All the Mourning Flower locations in Genshin Impact

There are a total of 78 Mourning Flowers in the Girdle of the Sands. Below you can see the map with all the Mourning Flower locations. Some of them are located underground, so to reach them, you will have to complete the Khvarena of Good and Evil world quest.

We have selected two really easy and straightforward farming routes that will allow you to collect a lot of flowers quickly without requiring you to complete the world quest. Both of them are marked on the map as well. We will dive a bit deeper into each of them.

The Temir Mountains route

The first route is located to the south of the Temir Mountains. It is very easy to execute as it follows a river in a valley. You can fast-travel to the teleporter, which is on the south side of the valley, then jump down and follow the river to collect the flowers. There are 21 flowers on this route with the last two being in the Temir Mountains. You should have no problem finding these flowers, but be on the lookout for the hostile mobs that spawn in the valley.

The Asipattravana Swamp route

The second route is located in the Asipattravana Swamp and is just as easy as the first one. You will start by getting to the fast-travel points near the bridge, and then go to the east side of the valley above the waterfall. There you will collect 10 flowers, after which you need to fast travel back and jump down. From there, you need to go to the west collecting 12 more flowers for a total of 22 flowers on this route.

You can also explore the underground part of the Girdle of the Sands and collect more Mourning Flowers on the way, but if you are looking to collect a lot of them quickly, both of the routes we have provided above are really easy to execute and will provide you with 43 Mourning Flowers in a few minutes.
