Main Cannon, Make Ready, Fire!
Once players have completed the Mysterious Islands: Journey to the Unknown quest they will be able to enter Act I of the Midsummer Island Adventure.
From the Midsummer Island Adventure event, players will be given locations on the open water where they must clear out groups of enemies on floating platforms.
They can do this by using the Waverider's main attack, which fires a low-damage projectile, or its special attack which fires a high-damage charged shot that has a cooldown.
Players can also disembark the Waverider to climb the structures and deal with foes the old-fashioned way.
Keep in mind that the Waverider has 40,000 HP, and it is destroyed players will need to teleport back to one of the islands and recall the ship from a Waverider point.
When not taking damage, the Waverider will slowly recover HP.
The best way to tackle each enemy grouping is the use the Waverider to destroy and platforms that can be destroyed, then disembark to handle the rest of the enemies using your favorite characters.
The Waverider's two attacks do a good amount of damage to structures, but it weak against most enemies, taking way too long to take them down.
Once an enemy encampment is taken down, players will earn 200 Shiny Flotsam that can be spent in the Event Shop.
