Genshin Impact Grus Nivis: Act I Walkthrough Guide

Genshin Impact 2.0 offers players two new Story Quests, with Kamisato Ayaka's being the first players unlock as they progress through their Archon Quest.

Unlike many of the Character Story Quests, Kamisato Ayaka's does not require players to use any Story Keys and unlocks during the natural course of the game.

How To Unlock Grus Nivis: Act I - The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit

For players to partake in Grus Nivis: Act I, they must be at least AR 30 and have completed Chapter 2: Act 1 The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.

In fact, as soon as players complete Chapter 2: Act 1, The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit will automatically start with Ayaka chasing after the Traveler as they leave the Teahouse.

The following guide is as spoiler-free as possible. It may contain names and locations players have not yet encountered.

Ayaka's Story Quest will pick up directly after Genshin Impact players finish Chapter 2: Act 1 The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.

They can continue with the game as normal if they choose not to follow the Story Quest at this time without any other quests being locked out.

The following guide details all the major steps required to complete Grus Nivis: Act I - The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit:

A Private Commission

1. Exit the Komore Teahouse

Woven Wishes

1. Go to Ogura Textiles & Kimonos, which will be marked on the map
2. Talk to Kurisu in Ritou. Players will find him at the top of the steps in the objective area
3. Head to the marked location on the map and follow the footprints into the forest
4. Defeat the Ronin (Ayaka will be on Trial at this point if players do not have her)
5. Go back to Ogura Textiles & Kimonos

Food From Afar

1. Talk to Kiminami Anna at the marked restaurant
2. Cook and give Ayaka a Mushroom Pizza
3. Return to Kiminami Anna
4. Head back to Ogura Textiles & Kimonos

Lasting Promise

1. Head to the marked area. It will be below Inazuma City
2. Check near the glowing shrubbery in the back of the cave for the Conspicuous Stone Wall
3. Knock once, four times, and seven times to open a secret passage
4. Examine the box inside
5. Go to the marked area outside the cave

With You

1. Head to the marked area
2. Follow and talk with Ayaka
3. Follow Ayaka
4. Follow Ayaka again
