The Persona x Dynasty Warriors crossover, which has remained a Japanese exclusive so far, looks to be finally coming to the west.
Leaks have indicated its release date as well as which platforms it will be launching on.
What Is Persona?
Persona is a RPG series that has been around since 1996.
The series is developed by Atlus, a subsidiary of Sega.
It is a very popular series, although surprisingly unknown.
The last entry in the series, Persona 5 Royal scored a 95/100 on Metacritic.
Persona 5 Strikers
Persona 5 Strikers is a crossover game between Persona and Dynasty Warriors.
The game features elements from both franchises, such as real-time combat from Dynasty Warriors, as well as turn-based battling from Persona, which sounds like a clash of styles but it works.
It launched in Japan in February 2020 and so far there has been no mention of a release date in the west.
Now, according to a leaked trailer it looks like it will be releasing in the west very soon.

Release Date
According to the leak, the game will launch on February 23, 2021, one year after its release in Japan.
Platforms
The leak indicates that the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
This also means that the game will be playable on PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility.
Pre-order
The leaked trailer stated that the game could be pre-ordered from the official website.
However, the website isn't live yet, indicating that the news wasn't ready to be announced.
It is possible that ATLUS are planning on revealing the game during the upcoming The Game Awards.
More SEGA Titles Coming To Steam?
In August, SEGA said that it is looking to port more games to Steam and other new platforms following the success of Persona 4 Golden.
The 2012 game was ported to Steam in June 2020 and became an instant hit.
It has an overwhelmingly positive score on Steam with over 36,000 positive reviews, compared to just 1,000 negative.
Persona 4 Golden can be purchased for $19.99 on Steam, definitely worth while checking out for players new to the series.
Persona 5 & Persona 5 Royal are both on PlayStation 4, with the Royal edition scoring 95/100 on Metacritic, as mentioned previously.
