When does the Fortnite Season 7 event start?

Last season we saw the first-ever start of season event to kick of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.

Because of this, we haven't seen an end of season event in Season 6.

This means we could see a start of season event for Season 7 to kick off the brand new alien-themed season.

What Time Does The Fortnite Season 7 Event Start?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 will begin on Tuesday, June 8th, bringing the end of the current Primal theme.

If we see another start of season event it will take place after downtime ends for the 17.00 update.

It will also be a requirement to take part in before you can jump into your first match of Season 7, so if you're not able to play immediately after downtime ends you won't miss it.

Based on previous updates, we can expect downtime to begin between 2-4 am EST/7-9 am BST and last for 2-3 hours.

What To Expect From Season 7

Aliens have come to the Fortnite island and are currently abducting players mid-match.

The tagline for Season 7 is "They're coming", which indicates that aliens will continue to play a role in the upcoming season.

A new teaser video indicates we could be seeing weapon charms, new consumables, and an anti-gravity gun in the next season.

A Futuristic Theme

With aliens coming to the game, it is possible that we could see some new futuristic elements in the game, a contrast to the Primal theme that is currently in the game.

Mecha Team Leader will be the Fortnite Crew Pack skin in June 2021 and it looks strikingly similar to Singularity, the secret skin for Chapter 1 Season 9.

Season 9 was when we saw a futuristic setting with Neo Tilted, Mega Mall, and the Slip Streams.

Could we see the Fortnite island go into the future after being plunged back to the stone ages this season?

The next Fortnite Crew Pack has been revealed after Epic Games teased it all throughout May with various loading screens.

Check out the new Crew Pack trailer below, which could also be showing off brand new locations for Season 7.
