Zyg and Choppy are on the move again after starting at Hydro 16 and then moving to Weeping Woods.
This location is set to be their final one and we are unsure if they'll stick around in-game after next week, so be sure to try out the Zyg and Choppy ray gun before then.
LATEST - Zyg and Choppy on the Move Again!
The Zyg and Choppy NPC has moved again, likely to their final location. They can now be found near Boney Burbs or The Aftermath planting more Alien Parasite eggs.
If you're unsure where The Aftermath is, it's the large purple area dead centre on the map surrounding water.
Zyg and Choppy Have Relocated
Zyg and Choppy have now moved location and are no longer found at Hydro 16. With the latest move, they are now in the Weeping Woods near the bathroom shack.
This means for the remainder of the Week 5 Legendary quest to dance near them and if you want to get their Ray Gun, you'll need to travel here as oppose to Hydro 16. Zyg and Choppy are set to move again next week, so stay tuned for that update also.
Zyg and Choppy's Location
Zyg and Choppy are located at Hydro 16, the water facility located at the bottom of the dam midway between Misty Meadows and Slurpy Swamp.
Hydro 16 is not a marked location on the map, so we've included a marked map below for you the check out.
This was also the location of the graffiti we had to find last week!

How To Get Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun
Once you land a Hydro 16, search the inside of the main building. Walking around should be Zyg the alien and their pet, Choppy.
This isn't an interreact quest unfortunately, so to get Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun, you're going to have to do things the hard way. Kill them.
Once the deed is done, the ray gun should drop and you can interact with it to pick it up. Like the Kymera ray gun, it doesn't require ammo.
Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun Stats
Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun stats are pretty cool. As a continuous beam is fired it will inflict 12 points of damage for each tick.
The magazine size is listed at 1,000,000 but the gun doesn't actually have a magazine. You will need to make sure it doesn't overheat and end up on cooldown though.
The main difference between this and the top end Kymera ray gun is the colour of the beam. It is a red/orange colour compared to the Kymera's blue. The weapon is also listed as Mythic quality.
