Following the community's choice to fund Shockwave Launchers over Rift-To-Gos, the second vote of Fortnite Season 8 is upon us, and this time it sees the Combat Assault Rifle take on the Combat SMG.
The two weapons are brand new, so it'll be exciting to see which one wins out.
Combat Assault Rifle vs. Combat SMG
On the 18.20 update breakdown, Epic has detailed how the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat SMG differ to their normal counterparts.
"Sporting a tight bullet spread and exceptional power, the Combat variants of the Assault Rifle and SMG are quite a force in an expert's hands. Just watch out for the kickback! Both the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat SMG have a strong recoil that you must tame to get the most out of them."
Therefore, while they'll pack a punch, they might not be the easiest weapons to use for the inexperienced Fortnite players.

Fortnite New Item Vote - How to Vote
Thankfully, the vote for the new item works in the same way as the previous one did.
What you need to do is, "donate Bars at Donation Boards to help your favorite choice reach 100% Funded first and be the one that becomes available on the Island!"
You'll be able to keep track of how the vote is going, and the winner will be added to the loot pool shortly.
