We have our first details on the Fortnite Crew Pack for August as the skin that is headlining the pack was leaked shortly before its official reveal. This will be the first time that a concept skin has been made a reality for the pack.
Let's take a look at the initial leaks and official confirmation of the Fortnite August Crew Pack.
Fortnite August Crew Pack Leak
Shortly before the official announcement was expected, Fortnite leaker @HYPEX noted on Twitter that the French Fortnite account had responded to some concept art on the site.
The skin is a change from the recent direction that Fortnite has been taking with many of their skins. July's Crew Pack saw Loki introduced and other collaborations like LeBron James and Ferrari have been featured this month alone.
Fortnite August Crew Pack Confirmation
Just after the leak did the rounds, it was confirmed that the Ava skin would be headlining the Fortnite Crew Pack for August.
The skin is from artist @NOLLOBANDZ who, based on their pinned tweet, created the concept back in November 2020. The reveal has received mixed reactions as it appears many players wanted to see the trend of licensed skins continue this month.
Others have pointed out that this is a fantastic way to highlight the creative minds who support the game with their artistic content. Fortnite has been known to shine a spotlight on community content since the early days of Save The World and the Battle Royale game modes.
Also included in the Fortnite Crew Pack for August is 1,000 V-Bucks and the current Seasons Battle Pass (V-bucks will be given as compensation should you already have the Battle Pass). The August Crew Pack will be available at the usual time meaning you can purchase it from Sunday, 1 August.
