Title Update #11 is set to hit FIFA 23 in a matter of days, with EA having already released the patch notes, outlining the latest changes coming to the game.
This time, EA is set to make a huge change to the existing skill moves system which could have huge ramifications on the gameplay meta going forward.
Check out all the changes coming to the game with Title Update #11 and when the update will be made available below.
Title Update #11 release date
EA has not yet confirmed the release date for Title Update #11, but has stated that it will be made available 'soon'.
The Title Update #10 will be made available for the PC (EA app/Origin/Steam/Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23.
EA tends to use the Title Updates as opportunities to implement whatever gameplay adjustments they feel need introducing.
Title Update #11 will see the first change to the skill moves system added since FIFA 23's release back in September 2022.
The gameplay adjustment effectively 'buffs' skill moves and could create a shift in the meta towards certain combinations of skill moves.
The following gameplay change will be made as part of Title Update #11:
- Players can now perform chained Skill Moves with more consistency when not repeating the same Skill Move back-to-back in a chain.
So, what does this actually mean for the FIFA 23 gameplay? You will be able to perform back-to-back skill moves with greater smoothness.
When performing back-to-back sill moves before the update, the animation would become slow, laboured and out of control.
Now, you will be able to keep the ball close to your feet whilst performing chain skill moves, making beating your opponent's defenders easier.
However, if you are attempting to perform the same skill move in quick succession this change will not apply.
EA usually makes a number of minor adjustments to Ultimate Team but this time around, nothing within FUT 23 will be affected.
Even in Title Update #10, the only changes that were made to Ultimate Team were centred around fixing issues with the placeholder text and visuals.
More General Changes
As usual, EA will use this opportunity to make some general FIFA 23 changes including updates to in-game clubs, kits, balls and more.
Title Update #11 will include the following changes:
- Updated several aspects of CONMEBOL competitions, such as competition schedules.
- Updated some kits, tifos, trophies, audio, ad boards, portraits, broadcast packages, text descriptions, balls, competitions, and crowds.
