FIFA 23 Title Update #10: Patch notes & release date

Title Update #10 is set to hit FIFA 23 in a matter of days, with EA having already outlined the latest changes coming to the game.

The last Title Update saw a brand new league and 10 new celebrations added to the FIFA 23 database, so what will the next one hold?

Title Update #10 release date

EA has not yet confirmed the release date for Title Update #10, but has stated that it will be made available 'soon'.

The Title Update #10 will be made available for the PC (EA app/Origin/Steam/Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23.

Ultimate Team

EA is making just a couple of minor adjustments to Ultimate Team this time around, but nothing that will affect the gameplay.

In fact, the only changes coming to FUT 23 are centred around fixing issues with the placeholder text and visuals.

Title Update #10 will bring the following changes to Ultimate Team:

• Placeholder text could have displayed for some FUT Moments requirements.
• Placeholder visuals could have displayed during some Pack opening animations.

New Additions

Once again the next Title Update will see a number of new kits, badges, stadia and more added to the game as well as several items updated.

EA has not yet provided the information on the specific items or teams and has simply written the following in the Title Update #10 patch notes:

• Updated some kits, badges, boots, UI elements, trophies, star heads, gloves, balls, VIP Areas, banners, tifos, stadium themes, celebrations stadia, and facial hair.

Bug Fixes

As usual, EA will use this opportunity to fix whichever bugs have been brought to the attention of the developers by the FIFA community.

The most significant change here is that EA has fixed the stability issues that were occurring in certain game modes.

The following bug fixes will be implemented as part of the next Title Update:

• Addressed instances of various stability issues.
• Sometimes, the UI element for displaying points in King Of The Hill matches did not display correctly.

FIFA 24

With the FIFA 23 game cycle in a bit of a lull right now, fans are beginning to wonder when the next title in the series will be released.

Well, it's important to understand that FIFA as we know it will not be named 'FIFA 24'. Instead, it will now be named 'EA Sports FC', following the well-documented split between FIFA and EA Sports after ongoing licensee fee issues

So, we're not looking forward to a FIFA 24 release date but now an 'EA Sports FC' release date - the title of EA's new footballing sim, set to arrive in 2023.

We expect to see an EA Sports FC release date of around Friday, 29 September 2023, in keeping with the FIFA titles that have gone before.
