FIFA 23 Ratings Week is officially underway, with EA having revealed the FIFA 23 Ambassador ratings as well as Top 25 Premier League ratings.
Three Tottenham Hotspur stars have made the top 25 this year and it's no surprise to see the lethal attacking duo, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane included.
However, Spurs fans are NOT happy with the England player's new rating after what was an exceptional 2021/22 season from their number 10.
Spurs Star Slashed
Tottenham Hotspur and England international captain Harry Kane was simply outstanding during the 2021/22 campaign, after a typically slow start to the season.
The development of Kane's game has made him involved in all facets of attacking play, contributing with both goals and assists.
The 29-year-old managed to score 17 Premier League goals last term and also provided nine assists in the 2021/22 league season.
However, it shockingly seems EA is not satisfied with Kane's output or performances from last season, given he has received a downgrade in FIFA 23.
The record breaker has had his pace slashed by 2 points, whilst his dribbling and physicality have been downgraded by 1 point.
Kane is undoubtedly one of the best passers of the ball in the Premier League, so an 83 rating here also seems harsh.
Dynamic Duo
Although Harry Kane's FIFA 23 card is far from the meta, he does link nicely to his fellow Spurs star and partner in crime, Heung Min Son.
Kane and Son's prolific striker partnership is now world-famous, having set the PL record for most goals set up by one another in history.
Like his English counterpart, Son enjoyed a fantastic 2021/22 season, sharing the Premier League Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah, having netted 23 goals.
Whilst we felt that the South Korean deserved to see his rating increase slightly, EA has decided to keep the 30-year-old as an 89 OVR.
Son's card boasts 89 shooting, 88 pace, 86 dribbling and 82 passing, along with the crucial five-star weak foot that makes him so desirable.
