FIFA 22 is now available through the EA Play 10-hour trial, and Early Access is coming on Monday, 27 September, when we can all breathe a sigh of relief that we're no longer on a ticking clock.
One of the benefits of getting on the game early is having exclusive rewards.
We take a look at what is available for users at the moment, and how to complete the objectives.
What's in the paaaack?
If you have gained Early Access then you will find a group objective called (shockingly) Early Access, which will offer you this reward:
1 x Early Access Pack (Untradeable)
A willingness to work through the objectives is varying, as it is not clear exactly what you gain from that pack.
Speculation was that it would be similar to last year and include a player pick and loan player.
According to DualShockers:
"The Early Access Pack is untradeable, and based on last year’s experience, it could feature one Player Pick with an overall of 80-84 as well as a loan player for ten matches.
It’s yet to be seen what it features for this year, but it’s not expected to be too different from the previous years."
This seems to be the consensus on Reddit too, and that the loan player could be a Team of the Week item.
FIFAUTeam seems to have confirmed that the rewards for completing the objectives are:
- 1 x 80-84 Player Pick
- 1 x Team of the Week Player (10 game loan)
Early Access Objectives
To complete the group challenge and get the pack reward you will need to do the five following objectives:
Friendly Fresh Start
- Play 3 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: New Beginnings
Reward:
1 x 75+ Rated Rare Player
New Recruits
- Play 4 matches in Rivals using a starting squad containing at least 3 players brought on the transfer market
Reward:
1 x Small Gold Players Pack
Fine Finishing
- Score a Finesse goal in 2 separate Rivals matches
Reward:
1 x Two Players Pack
World Class Pass
- Assist using Midfielders in 4 separate Squad Battles matches on min. Semi-Pro difficulty
Reward:
1 x Small Electrum Players
Co-Op Comrades
- Win 4 Co-Op matches in ant FUT game mode
Reward:
1 x Gold Pack
Worth the hassle?
An 80-84 player pick is tempting, especially so early on in Ultimate Team.
The loan player could be brilliant, could be not so great, depending on your luck.
Most of these objectives are fairly straightforward, and you are likely to complete them during your regular playing time without thinking about it.
However, the Co-Op Comrades throws a spanner in the works, as it means you have to link up with another player.
If you can organize with a mate then it shouldn't be a problem, but it would be worth waiting until you're no longer in the 10-hour trial period.
You can also use public matchmaking to pair up with a stranger and hope that works out for you.
