The FIFA 22 Ultimate Team game cycle is well underway now, with the Team of the Group Stage promo set to arrive very soon.
As we head into the Winter period, the Team of the Year (TOTY) promo is on the horizon!
So, take a look at why you NEED to be saving your FUT 22 packs for the TOTY below.
Release Date
We do not yet have official confirmation of the TOTY release date for FIFA 22, but we can have a pretty good guess, judging off of previous years.
In FIFA 21, the TOTY was released later than usual, with the Headliners promo running in early January, which meant the TOTY arrived in mid-January.
So, with the help of this Tweet from FIFAUTeam, we can expect the TOTY to arrive around mid-January, perhaps on Friday, 14 January 2021.
Save your packs for TOTY!
So, now that we know the Team of the Year event will probably commence in around just one month, it's about time we prepare for the biggest promo of the year so far!
We think saving your packs until the Team of the Year in Ultimate Team could be EXTREMELY beneficial.
Now, it's important to know what we mean by 'saving your packs'.
You should only be saving the 'big' packs. It's up to you to decide which 'big' packs you want to save, but we'd recommend saving your all player packs and or packs that are worth 25,000 coins or more.
You'll need to open the smaller packs in order to keep the flow of player and consumable items coming into your club during this next period.
You'll be able to use these player and consumable items to complete the new SBCs that are released, allowing you to store more high-value packs for TOTY.
