FIFA 22 is nearly upon us with some high-profile players already lucky enough to have the game, including Liverpool forward Diogo Jota!
For now though, EA has released the official soundtrack to accompany the game, with 122 tracks split across two playlists.
Soundtrack revealed
It's here, the FIFA 22 soundtrack has landed and it features Arrdee and his smash hit 'Oliver Twist'.
Sam Fender, Swedish House Mafia, and Loyle Carner are some of the other big names on the main playlist, and there are loads of big stars on the VOLTA playlist too.
Skepta, Avelino, AJ Tracey, and Future all feature in what could be one of the best FIFA soundtracks ever.
An unprecedented 27 nations are represented in the playlists this season, with artists from all over the globe gathering all in one place.
FIFA 22 Playlist
We are pretty excited about the new playlist but don't just take our word for it! EA's official statement reads as follows:
"This year’s 52 new tracks – a genre-spanning festival of bold, uplifting rhythms – features international superstars like Swedish House Mafia (Sweden), Polo & Pan (France), Glass Animals (UK), Little Simz (UK), girl in red (Norway), Jungle (UK), and UK singer/songwriter Sam Fender.
"And just as highly anticipated by music fans, this year’s soundtrack delivers a showcase of the world’s hottest newcomers that include NYC vocalist Casper Caan, Australian alt-rockers Bloodmoon, Brazilian vocal phenom CAIO PRADO, London soul singer Hope Tala, unique Congolese collective KOKOKO!, French-Jamaican singer/rapper Hendrix Harris, Israeli trip-hop band Garden City Movement, Ireland’s #1 indie rockers Inhaler, and South Africa’s ‘future ghetto punk’ Moonchild Sanelly featuring UK duo Sad Night Dynamite."
With plenty of new tunes to enjoy, we can't wait for bangers to begin.
VOLTA Playlist
Just like last year, VOLTA has its own unique playlist too with a more "gritty underground vibe".
"To heighten this atmosphere, the VOLTA FOOTBALL soundtrack is stacked with 70 songs that deliver a quintessential mix in global hip-hop, grime, electronic and beyond, including a new record from Parisien producers DJ Snake & Malaa, UK drill rapper Headie One featuring afroswing duo Young T & Bugsey, buzzing Atlanta hip-hop duo EARTHGANG, and UK singer/songwriter John Newman with a remix of his #1 breakthrough hit “Love Me Again” from FIFA 14 ."
With all the changes and new features coming to VOLTA this season, we could see the game mode really explode.
