The wait is over, FIFA 22 is here! The full database of players is now available and we know every player's ratings in the new game.
A tough season for Liverpool last season has seen some of their key players downgraded in FIFA 22, but they will still be a tough team to beat.
Mohamed Salah (OVR 89)
Mohamed Salah has shockingly been downgraded from a 90 OVR to an 89 OVR as we head into FIFA 22!
The Liverpool winger's pace has been reduced from 93 to 90, whilst his shooting has been given a slight +1 boost to 87.
Salah doesn't seem to have lost a yard of pace, so this one seems very strange.
Sadio Mane (OVR 89)
There doesn't seem to be any consistency with EA's ratings, as Salah's partner in crime, Sadio Mane, scored just 16 goals whilst providing 9 assists last season, and has been given the same 89 OVR as Salah.
Of course, the quality of player is not all down to statistics, but Mane's level has clearly dropped below Salah over the past 18 months.
So, Mane should be rated lower than Salah in FIFA 22.
Virgil Van Dijk (OVR 89)
Virgil Van Dijk has been downgraded from 90 OVR to 89 OVR this year, following a lengthy injury that he sustained last season.
It seems pretty harsh of EA to downgrade big Virg, considering he has barely put a foot wrong in the past few years.
However, we understand EA's reasoning behind this, as we don't know if he'll bounce back from his ACL injury yet.
Alisson (OVR 89)
Liverpool keeper Alisson is the fourth player in this list to be downgraded by -1 to an 89 OVR.
This may be as a result of the Reds' poor defensive record last season due to the countless injuries they suffered at centre-back, but we think an 89 OVR for Alisson is fair.
Still, being one of the best goalkeepers in the world, we think the Brazilian can bounce back and reclaim his 90 OVR for FIFA 23.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (OVR 87)
Maintaining his high rating, the young English RB will be a Career Mode target when the game comes out.
Not the paciest around, but his passing more than makes up for that.
Expect to whip in killer crosses for fun, much like he does in real life.
Andrew Robertson (OVR 87)
Joining his partner in crime with the same rating, Andrew Robertson will be up and down the wing like nobody's business.
Injury has slowed him down at the start of this season, but expect to see him back at his consistent best in a few weeks.
Fabinho (OVR 86)
It's another downgrade for Liverpool, and it seems another tough call from EA.
Fabinho missed large parts of the season but was one of the Reds' better performers when he was available.
Thiago (OVR 86)
We really are confused by EA's ratings for Liverpool as Spanish maestro Thiago is one of the few players to receive an upgrade.
We know Thiago is a top-class player but was he good enough to warrant a boost to 86 OVR?
Roberto Firmino (OVR 85)
We can understand this downgrade, we just hope Roberto Firmino can prove us wrong!
Firmino has not hit the heights that we know he can in the past couple of seasons and has been consistently overshadowed by Salah and Mane's terrific goalscoring exploits.
Jordan Henderson (OVR 84)
A groin injury meant Jordan Henderson was another man who spent plenty of time with Liverpool's physio department last season.
Still a quality midfielder, we like the look of Henderson early in FUT 22.
