Latest - Premier League Silver Star
It was about time we saw a Silver Star released from the Premier League, and that is what we got during Team of the Week 9.
Everton youngster Anthony Gordon has joined the Adidas Numbers Up ranks with a 72 OVR.
We know this will reach 74 OVR eventually, with his dribbling also rising to 99! Already quick with 87 Pace, this card could be one to keep an eye on.
See how to unlock Anthony Gordon's Numbers Up card here.
Team 1
The first batch of Adidas x EA Sports items is currently available in packs with some cracking new cards to look out for.
Germany and Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the highest-rated of the lot with a huge 91 OVR.
La Liga stars Joao Felix and Eder Militao should also prove popular players, especially when they receive their full upgrades.
There are three Premier League stars in the first release too, with Diogo Jota, Sergio Reguilon, and Declan Rice all included.
Mini Release adds three players
Fabian, Di Maria and Dele Alli have been added to the Adidas 99 Team 1 as part of a mini release.
They join the lineup which is available in packs now up until Friday, 19 November.
Upgrades Explained
EA has revealed how the new cards will work in the latest loading screen.
Some hefty upgrades will be arriving in the event, so keep an eye out for the brightly coloured new cards in packs this Friday.
These are how the Numbers Up upgrades will work:
- Update 1 - Campaign Launch
- Update 2 - +5 Numbers Up Attribute (PAC/PAS/DRI), +1 Other Attributes
- Update 3 - 99 Numbers Up Attribute (PAC/PAS/DRI), +1 Other Attributes
Players who wear these models will receive the following stat boosts:
- Adidas Predator - Dribbling
- Adidas Copa - Passing
- Adidas X - Pace
When will they receive the upgrades?
There is not long to wait for the second upgrade, with the end of December when we will see upgrade #2.
Upgrade #3 is a little further away though, with the end of April when we can expect to see our players reach those 99 stats.
Release Date
We expected a new event to take over from the Rulebreakers on Friday, 12 November, and that has proved correct with the Adidas 99 event underway.
The Adidas 99 event kicked off at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT on Friday, 12 November, so it could be a full two-week event like we have seen already this season.
Black Friday arrives on Friday, 26 November, so the timings seem to line up perfectly for a smooth transition.
