Winter Upgrades are coming soon on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, and the Winter Refresh could be up next.
Each year EA release some new base cards with higher ratings based on real life performances as part of the promo event.
Take a look at five Premier League stars we think deserve an upgrade of +3 or higher.
Bruno Fernandes (OVR 87 – 90)
Since arriving in Manchester, Bruno Fernandes has quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League, if not the world.
Fernandes received an upgrade at the end of FIFA 20 from an 85 to 87, but this could rise even higher.
Could we see a 90 OVR for Fernandes this winter? If EA want a headline player for the Winter Refresh, Fernandes could be the man.
Joao Cancelo (OVR 83 – 86)
One of the best players in the league this season, we don’t even what position to say Joao Cancelo plays anymore.
Pep Guardiola has got the right back flying forward at every opportunity, and Cancelo has picked up some great attacking positions.
86 OVR might be a stretch in the Winter Refresh, but it would be no more than he deserves.
Ruben Dias (OVR 81 – 84)
What a signing Ruben Dias has been for Manchester City. The Portuguese centre back has built a solid partnership with John Stones at the heart of City’s defence, helping them to move clear at the top of the table.
With just an 81 OVR, the sky is the limit for Dias. We expect an 84 OVR to arrive, but it could be higher considering Aymeric Laporte is an 87.
Dias, Cancelo and Fernandes are not the only Portuguese stars excelling this season, Andre Silva has been tearing it up in the Bundesliga.
Declan Rice (OVR 79 – 82)
David Moyes has led West Ham to more points already this season than they achieved in the whole of last season, and Declan Rice is a massive factor in their success.
Rice has developed a terrific partnership with Tomas Soucek in midfield and are the key players for The Irons.
The England international has certainly proved he is worthy of more than 79 OVR, and he won’t be happy with 44 Shooting either.
Bukayo Saka (OVR 75 – 80)
In line for Young Player of the Year, Arsenal’s Future Star Bukayo Saka has been incredible for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The Gunners have had a revival of sorts, with their young players at the forefront of their upturn in fortunes.
More often than not, Saka has stepped up for Arsenal and consistently been their most impressive player.
Saka is not the only youngster impressing this season though, Joao Felix is also in line for a La Liga Winter Upgrade.
