The Winter Refresh promo may be further away than we first thought.
EA has kept quiet on the release of the annual promo, with no sign of a release date as of yet.
The 6pm release is fast approaching, so what can we expect?
Latest News - Icon Swaps 2
The Winter Refresh silence continues, and with a little under half an hour until the 6pm release, it looks as though it's Icon Swaps 2 which will be the main focus tonight.
There will be a whole host of new objectives, as well as a brand new set of rewards available to redeem.
You can follow along with all the Icon Swaps Updates here.
No sign of Winter Refresh
We were hoping that the Winter Refresh would begin tonight, but so far we've had no indication that it will.
EA's usual pre promo routine usually includes the release of a loading screen that teases what is to come.
Whilst we've had a loading screen to confirm Icon Swaps 2, we've had nothing as far as Winter Refresh goes.
You can keep up with all the updates ahead of the arrival of Icon Swaps 2 by following our live countdown.
Icon Moments Predictions
We've had the unenviable task of predicting some of the ratings for the upcoming Icon Moments cards.
We've looked at David Beckham, the Brazilian Ronaldo and Diego Maradona, and looked at their leaked images to see what moment in their career the image reflects.
Check out our predictions here.
Loading Screen
Expect the Winter Refresh promo to be confirmed very soon with an Ultimate Team loading screen.
Expect one to arrive tonight, Thursday, 18 February at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
Release Date
It is looking like the Winter Refresh is coming to FUT 21 on Friday, 19 February.
Alongside a Winter Refresh team, we are expecting loads of other new cards too including Icon Moments, Ones to Watch and winter upgrades.
Winter Refresh
With the January transfer window long gone, it is time for EA to update a few player ratings.
This should happen in the Winter Refresh, along with plenty of other content too.
Player upgrades should arrive with a new Winter Refresh squad. Last year we saw some great cards in the XI, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen.
We could also see new Ones to Watch and Icon Moments cards too.
Upgrades
Player upgrades should happen in the Winter Refresh. These will be awarded to players who have outperformed their basic OVR on FUT 21.
Bruno Fernandes is our pick to headline these winter upgrades as he has proven himself to be one of the best players in world football.

Ones to Watch
The 2021 January transfer window was one of the least eventful in recent memory.
West Ham were the busiest in terms of Ones to Watch (OTW) prospects, selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax and bringing in Jesse Lingard from Manchester United.
Lingard already has an in-form card at his new club after dazzling on debut against Aston Villa.
Martin Odegaard, Moussa Dembele and Dominik Szoboozslai are the three players to look out for in winter OTW.
