The international break has seen a pause to domestic action, but which national heroes will make the Team of the Week (TOTW) 27 squad on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team?
The road to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has begun across the world, and we have seen some superb individual displays so far.
There is one man who quite literally stands head and shoulders above the rest though, as Czech Republic captain Tomas Soucek helped his country off to an excellent start in the qualifiers.
TOTW 27
TOTW 27 will be released on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team on Wednesday, 31 March at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
All the players selected will be available in packs for one week and will also impact any dynamic cards the players may have already.
They won’t be the only special cards in packs though as the FUT Birthday event continues, with a second set of players arriving on Friday, 2 April.
It will be a busy week on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, so make sure to keep track of all the new content being added, including the latest FUT Birthday SBC Mesut Ozil.
Soucek stars again
Tomas Soucek has been named Czech Footballer of the Year for the second year running, joining some illustrious names such as current FIFA Icons Pavel Nedved and Petr Cech.
The West Ham midfielder has been in superb form this season, already boasting two in-form cards on FUT 21.
It looks like the giant midfielder will add to that though after scoring three goals against Estonia, helping his country off to the perfect start in World Cup qualifying.
Czech Republic also claimed an impressive point against Belgium in their second match as they look to be the two favourites in Group E.
Best of the rest
Soucek was not the only international star to score a hattrick this week though, with Turkey captain Burak Yilmaz putting Netherlands to the sword.
Yilmaz helped his side get off to the perfect start in Group G by beating Netherlands 4-2, and they also claimed an impressive victory over Erling Haaland’s Norway too.
Outside of Europe, Canada got off to a great start in their World Cup qualifying campaign after hammering Bermuda 5-1, but it was not one of their biggest stars that stole the show.
Besiktas forward Cyle Larin could be in for his second TOTW card of the season after scoring his first international hattrick of his career.
