The current POTM winner Bruno Fernandes’ SBC does not expire until midway through February.
The official nominees for January have now been revealed.
The winner is likely to be announced the following week with a brand-new SBC card to unlock.
Bernd Leno
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is one of two Gunners stars on the January POTM shortlist.
Leno kept four clean sheets in five games last month, although has begun February with a red card against Wolves.
Ilkay Gundogan
Man City are building momentum at the moment, and Ilkay Gundogan is on fire! The German international is the front-runner for January POTM.
Five goals in six games, not a bad return for a central midfielder!
James Maddison
Another midfielder adding goals to his game, James Maddison scored three times last month.
England and Gareth Southgate have plenty of options in the attacking midfield role!
