What are Silver Stars
Each week EA are releasing a silver objectives card with higher ratings than usual.
So far, it looks as though players who narrowly miss out on Team of the Week (TOTW) selection are in with a shout of featuring as a Silver Beast.
Each card has considerably better ratings than you would expect from a silver card, but they may not quite make your first team.
Either way, completing the objectives and collecting these cards can be a bit of fun!
Previous Cards
Last week’s Silver Star saw Moise Kean receive some new ratings, even though his OVR stayed the same.
The PSG striker scored twice last week, but narrowly missed out on a spot in TOTW 5.
Despite his OVR remaining the same, Kean’s pace saw an increase of +6 and his shooting +8 making him far better than your regular silver cards.
It took three different objectives to earn Kean’s Silver Star card, potentially only taking three matches to do so.
Prediction
Brighton right back Tariq Lamptey could be this week’s featured player.
The Seagulls may have lost to Spurs, but Lamptey has been excellent throughout the season and was on the scoresheet in their defeat.
Plenty of clubs around Europe hold interest in the 20-year-old, including German champions Bayern Munich.
A Silver Star for Lamptey would be rated 74 OVR and could see an incredible boost to all of his attributes.
