Destiny 2: Lightfall has officially launched and with it comes a brand-new season—Season of Defiance.
Also known as Destiny 2's 20th season, Season of Defiance, like others before it, will bring on new content for Guardians to enjoy. From an all-new campaign to the new Strand-based subclasses, players will have their hands full for the next couple of months.
That being said - When does Season of Defiance end in Destiny 2? Here's everything you need to know.
When does Season of Defiance end in Destiny 2?
Season of Defiance officially went live alongside the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, ushering in new content and features for players to enjoy.
The new tools and toys Guardians get to play with include an all-new campaign, new Strand-based subclasses for Guardians, Seasonal Engrams—which replaced Umbral Engrams and Energies—and new and improved rewards. Of course, with a new season comes a new raid, and for Season of Defiance, players will get to go through The Root of Nightmares raid which releases on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. EST.
Additionally, Guardians can expect more of their beloved PvP events Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris to occur throughout the season as well.
There is no official end date for Season of Defiance, however, it's worth noting that Destiny 2 seasons typically last for three to four months. This would put Season of Defiance's end around May or early April.
