Destiny 2's new Witch Queen expansion, the biggest the game has received in months, arrives today. With a ton of new content, including a Void subclass rework, there's lots to be excited about. It has now been confirmed that you can preload Destiny 2 The Witch Queen on all platforms and we know the full download size.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Server Downtime
Ahead of The Witch Queen going live, Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny 2 servers will go down for a little while first.
Ahead of you being able to install the update, the Destiny 2 servers will go offline at 2:45am GMT on February 22 or 9:45pm ET on February 21 if you're in the US.
Then, the servers will come back when The Witch Queen launches later that same day. In total, the servers will be offline for about 15 hours.
Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Release Time
Following the server downtime, the Destiny 2 Witch Queen update release time is set for 5pm GMT/12pm ET on February 22.
- UK - 5pm
- US (East Coast) - 12pm
There's a chance that the server downtime is extended and the release time is pushed back, but we'll let you know if/when any issues arise on Bungie's end.
