Ahead of the release Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft is fully backing the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Game Pass, fit with well over 100 titles, is lessening the need to purchase games, and could persuade a lot of players to join the brand this year.

CLUED IN - Could you work out what game is coming to the service

With a rainbow, six towers on the castle and an army performing a siege - it doesn't take a genius as to what game is coming to the service!

One of the most popular titles on the planet, Rainbow Six Siege is receiving an update for PS5 and Xbox Series X (even better news for Game Pass subscribers), adding 4K resolution and up to 120 fps.

On the up

Last month, Xbox Game Pass had more than 15 million subscribers.

Xbox Series X|S sales are likely to increase that number, plus the arrival of EA Play on the platform and the acquisition of Bethesda is expanding the library.

ACCESS GRANTED - The pay monthly option is likely to persuade players to Xbox

What's more, the Xbox All Access package for Next Gen allows gamers to get their new console (Series X or Series S) with two years of Game Pass Ultimate for a monthly price.

This will be $34.99 / £28.99 a month for Series X or $24.99 / £20.99 for Series S.

Game Pass will include Xbox Game Studios titles on release day, and for the latest titles added to the service - head here.
