CD Projekt Red have finally released the Update 1.06 patch notes, and while they're light, they offer some important general fixes.
You can read over the Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.06 Patch Notes below:
Quests
- Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
Console-specific
- Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
PC-specific
- Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
We expected Update 1.06 to come in January, but an earlier release means this Cyberpunk patch is understandably light in terms of overall content.

File Size
Cyberpunk Update 1.06 is 18.8 GB on PS4, and this sizing is likely similar across the board like previous patches.
This means it's a significant download that will likely take you over an hour on consoles.
With this in mind, you'll definitely want to fire up the Cyberpunk Update 1.06 patch as soon as possible to jump back in-game with the new changes!
Update 1.05
Update 1.05 was released on Friday, December 18 for PlayStation and Xbox users.
PC users received such version almost 24 hours after the console release.
The patch size was between 15 and 17GB on consoles, while the PC version was around 9GB.
It repaired several bugs we could find in campaign missions, such as when Jackie mysteriously disappeared during The Pickup and The Heist missions or several instances where the player did not receive any calls after certain missions or events.
For gameplay, the patch adjusts NPC reaction times when covered and corrects the number of shots required to eliminate civilians from a distance.
