The next Cyberpunk 2077 patch, Update 1.05, has been slated for release by the end of this week, according to CD Projekt Red.
Despite the Cyberpunk 2077 refund crisis, fans are still expecting an important patch to go live in the next couple days.

Cyberpunk 2077 Overheat
Overheating occurs when a player is in line of sight of cameras, or is being hacked by an enemy.
Overheating does damage until the player stops the hacker or breaks line of sight with the camera.

So what can players do to prevent overheat damage in Cyberpunk 2077?
Destroy Cameras
In plenty of situations, players will find that Cyberpunk 2077 overheat is coming from cameras.
To avoid this damage, players will have to destroy cameras, hack cameras, or stay out of their line of sight.
Find Your Hacker
Players aren't the only ones with the ability to hack enemies, and you'll soon find that opposing hackers can deal massive damage with overheat in Cyberpunk 2077.

Once an enemy begins hacking you, your Overheat bar will fill, and damage will begin. The only way to stop this damage is to find and kill your hacker, or break their line of sight.
Use Your Perks
While players love a good combat perk to give extra damage, if you're smart with your perks, you can avoid overheat damage in Cyberpunk 2077.
The best perk to stop overheating is I Spy, which reveals enemies that hack you. This allows you to kill off hack attempts first in combat, freeing you up to deal with other sources of damage.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.03
Cyberpunk 2077 has already undergone its fair share of patches after 2 on day one, but it doesn't look to be stopping there. A third patch is reportedly coming to Cyberpunk 2077 within 24 hours of launch.
