Warzone Secrets of the Pacific Event: Intel Locations, Rewards, & More

The Warzone Pacific update is still a couple of weeks away, but there's still so much to uncover about Caldera and the new narrative being put in place alongside Vanguard Season One. Rather than drip-feed us teasers through social media, Call of Duty has chosen to drip-feed us teasers through the Secrets of the Pacific event. Here's what we know so far...

INTEL LOCATIONS - Challenges & Rewards

If you're looking to get your hands on the "Bomber Menace" STG 44 Weapon Blueprint, you're going to need to complete all the Secrets of the Pacific Event Challenges - which involves finding Caldera-related intel around the map.

There are six in-game at the moment, but Call of Duty doesn't make it easy for you to find. Here's what we know so far...

  • Jailbreak - At the bottom of the stairs leading into Prison from outside
    • You need to survive one circle or win the game to complete this.
  • On The Air - Inside an Electronics Store opposite Train Station
    • You will need to survive three circles or win the game to complete this.
  • Fast Food - On a Burger Stand counter inside the Airport
    • You will need to survive three circles or win the game to complete this.
  • On Your Feet - Inside a Surgery Room in Verdansk General Hospital
    • You will need to survive four circles or win the game to complete this.
  • Abandoned - Inside a Mine Shaft's cave area near Airport
    • You will need to survive two circles or win the game to complete this.
  • Secrets - Head to one of the WW2-era Bunkers for this Intel
    • One is near Boneyard, one is near Airport, and one is south of Salt Mine.

SECRETS - What do we know about the event so far?

At the moment, we don't actually know a whole lot about the Secrets of the Pacific event. It's due to start in less than a day, but there's been almost nothing in the way of official communications regarding this event.

This isn't a surprise though, as Operation Flashback wasn't talked about at all until it was a Playlist available in-game. However, it does strike us as unusual that Call of Duty is giving up the fanfare for their Warzone events so close to a major update.

Still, here's what we know about the Secrets of the Pacific event so far...

" This limited-time event developed by Beenox will grant you vital information on Caldera and its various points of interest prior to its launch in December, but only if you complete challenges across Vanguard and Warzone. Each game will have its own set of tasks and rewards for completing them, such as acquiring and protecting Pacific artifacts while fighting to survive in Verdansk."

We're expecting a few more Calling Cards to sweeten the deal, but there should be a few more details about Caldera released through this event for the next few weeks.

It's expected to also lead into an "End of Verdansk" event that, once again, is teasing the end of Warzone's main map. It's hard to imagine that they're going to nuke the same location twice but... We wouldn't put it past them.

Keep an eye on Call of Duty on social media for more information about this event throughout the afternoon.
