How to find Uplink Stations for Warzone's Ground Fall Event

The Ground Fall event has started in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War and we have everything you need to know about this limited-time Season 4 event. There's a few things worth knowing and some nice rewards on offer.

In order to complete the "Ground Fall" event in Warzone, you're going to need to know what an Uplink Station looks like and where you can find them.

As it stands, it seems like Uplink Stations spawn a little like Buy Stations. There's a set number of locations throughout Verdansk '84, but they spawn "randomly" each game.

When you're in close enough proximity to an Uplink Station, a pop-up marker will appear on-screen similar to how it would for a Loadout Drop. You'll need to secure this in a similar way to how you'd complete a Recon Contract and then Satellite Drop will spawn. This is the easiest way to get Satellite Caches, but it doesn't come without risks.

Still... You should get some pretty decent loot from each Satellite Cache you find and it all helps towards the Challenges detailed below.

All The Challenges & Rewards

Ground Fall has a combined set of Event Challenges that you'll need to complete in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. This is unlike the previous season, which was two separate sets of challenges, and the Hunt For Adler event which was a "one or the other" situation.

However, it's worth noting that you can complete "all 3 Warzone or Cold war Ground Fall Challenges" to earn the Bonus Reward.

Here's everything you need to do and what it'll earn you...

Event Challenges

  • Warzone - Secure 5 Uplink Stations
  • Warzone - Eliminate 10 enemies while near an active Uplink Station or recently crashed Satellite
  • Warzone - Collect 3 rewards from crashed Satellites
  • Black Ops Cold War - Earn 1,000 points from captured Uplink Stations in Fireteam Sat-Link
  • Black Ops Cold War - Get 250 Eliminations in matches on Collateral, Collateral Strike, Hijacked, or Amsterdam
  • Black Ops Cold War - Get 15 Eliminations with the Hand Cannon Scorestreak

Kicking Off The Season With A Bang

Ground Fall is the latest limited-time event to hit Warzone and Black Ops Cold War and it will start at the same time as Season 4, on June 17th. If you're wondering what it's all about, you should check out the Cinematic Trailer first...

Now we've watched that, what is Ground Fall? Well... We don't know too much at the moment but we're expecting it to follow the same format as the 80s Action Heroes event last season.

SECURE THE CRASH SITE - These will be key areas for the Ground Fall Event Challenges

This means we're expecting to see in-game Event Challenges pop up in both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War for the next couple of weeks. Completing these will net you some mediocre rewards and you'll need to complete them all to unlock a Weapon Blueprint.

At the moment, though... This is all we know:

" For this event, you’ll tackle objectives pertaining to the new modes, maps, and weaponry in Black Ops Cold War and to the new Points of Interest in Warzone. Completing these objectives will reward you with items such as Emblems, Calling Cards, and a Satellite Weapon Charm, as well as some XP. Complete every challenge, and you’ll receive an Epic Secondary Weapon Blueprint that is truly out of this world."

We're expecting to see more of a breakdown on what this means, with specifics, when Season 4 launches on June 17th. For now, you can check out all we found out about the next update on the Call of Duty Blog here.
