Call of Duty: Vanguard is finally out worldwide and there's so much to do. You can find a fully-fledged single-player campaign, a spooky zombies mode and a hectic multiplayer. If multiplayer is your kind of thing, you will find yourself levelling up in no time. Here's everything you should know about the prestige system before you get there.
How does the prestige system work in Call of Duty: Vanguard?
Call of Duty: Vanguard's prestige system works the same as the previous two Call of Duty titles. The start of the game places you in the military ranks. After these get to level 55, the next prestige starts. It's a process that just keeps going and each season gives you a new prestige to unlock.
Essentially, you just keep playing until you reach the next prestige. You can find it by going into your multiplayer tab and moving to the barracks tab. From here, go to progression and you should find your current level and all your stats.
How to level up fast
Generally, levelling up is quicker in multiplayer than zombies but the downtime between games may slow you down. Games, where you can get tonnes of points, are the best way to go so it's all dependant on your playstyle. If you're someone who likes to lock down areas, domination is probably a good choice. If you're a little more of a lone wolf, maybe Free For All is for you.
Ultimately, the way you play is much more important than the mode you pick. You can check out our favourite assault rifle classes, snipers and more right now for an up on the competition. Get out there, get tonnes of kills and level up quickly. Luckily, Call of Duty tends to have tonnes of double XP weekends so watch out for these.
