The latest Assassin’s Creed title is here, and it’s going to be one to remember.
With players just getting their hands on the game, many are wondering how mounts work, and how they can change mount!
In this article, we’ll go over the ways that you can unlock more mounts, and even upgrade your current ones!
How to change your mount
Firstly, you will have to construct the Stable and Aviary in the game.
This will set you back 400 supplies and 30 raw materials, which you can gain by raiding nearby locations.
Once you have these in-game materials, and the building is finished, you can talk to the stable master to change your mount.
Which mounts will I have?
For the majority of players, you will start the game with just a single mount.
However, players who have the Valhalla Ultimate Edition will have access to the wolf mount (if you do not, you can purchase this mount in-game for roughly $8USD)
Other horses may be purchased for players with enough silver.

It is important to note that, initially, these mounts are simply a cosmetic change, and there are no in-game stamina or strength differences.
Upgrade your mount
You can upgrade your mount by talking to the stable master in the Stable and Aviary.
There are a variety of different upgrade paths that you can follow, including swimming stamina and health.
These go from cheap and basic abilities, to more advanced and far more expensive abilities.
We recommend you do the first Swimming upgrade as soon as possible, as it enable your mount to swim!
