Xbox News Today March 29: Cyberpunk patch notes and stock updates

`It's only the start of the week and there's already a lot of news going on in the world of Xbox.

Let's talk about it!

Cyberpunk 1.2 Patch Notes Released

After much anticipation and speculation, it appears that the Cyberpunk 2077 1.2 update is right around the corner as CD Projekt Red has released the patch notes for the new update.

These are some of the largest patch notes we've ever seen, over 8,000 words, which gives us hope that this update will fix many of the major issues that the game has and finally begin to give us the game we were all hoping for.

You can check out the full patch notes here.

THPS 1+2 Crashing on Series X

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered recently received a next-gen upgrade that was released on March 26th.

Unfortunately, some Xbox Series X|S owners are reporting crashes in-game while playing the new port.

Windows Central has provided a workaround which is worth trying.

The first is to play in offline mode so the game doesn't perform a server check.

Alternatively, uninstall the Series X version and install the Xbox One version and use Smart Delivery to play the next-gen version.

Rust Coming To Console In May

The popular PC survival game, Rust, will be making its way to PS4 and Xbox One in May.

Rust will also be playable on the next-gen systems via backwards compatibility and will include a Deluxe and Ultimate edition of the game which can be pre-ordered here.

Xbox Series X|S Stock Update

Both Box and EE have announced upcoming restocks of the Xbox Series X and S.

Box has decided to use a ballot service, similar to Currys, to give players an opportunity to purchase the console.

This will help give fewer consoles to scalpers as being quick doesn't necessarily mean you will secure one.

"All emails collected will be entered into a ballot whereby lucky entrants will receive an invitation to purchase the Xbox Series X.
Entrants to the ballot are not guaranteed the chance to purchase an Xbox Series X.
All stock available will be allocated to random entrants, upon which successful entrants will be contacted in order to make payment."

You can sign up to be added to the ballot here.
