UFL was one of the most highly anticipated games of 2025. The title developed by Strikerz Inc. presented fans with an alternative to the EA FC franchise, which has dominated the football genre for over a decade.
Since its launch, the feedback about the game has been mixed. Like all games, UFL has its fair share of problems, but most are easy to identify and have clear solutions.
UFL can easily address a handful of things that would significantly improve the game. So, let's find out what those changes are.
Remove RP Reduction
Listening to your player base is fundamental for a game's success, and the UFL community has made it very clear they want the RP reduction gone. The RP reduction starts at 5% but increases every week as you accumulate more RP.
Some players have found themselves losing half of their RP, preventing them from buying the player they desperately wanted because they don't have enough RP, even if they have enough CP.
It's frustrating to grind throughout the week to buy one or two players that would be fantastic additions to your squad, just to get hit with an RP tax that forces you to choose just one of the two players, has you don't have enough RP for both.
People already deal with taxes in the real world, and I don't see the point of also having to deal with them in a video game.
Increase the Value Of Selling a Player
This is one of the easiest but also most impactful changes UFL can make. Currently, if you buy a player and don't like him, maybe he just doesn't fit your playstyle, you only get 25% of his value when you sell him.
You lose millions of CP if you buy the wrong player, and that CP will take you a long time to get back unless you're okay with spending money on the game of course.
Buying a player shouldn't be an incredibly complex decision. You're deciding between Bastoni or Militão you're not choosing your college degree. So, increasing the sell value of a player to at least 50% is something UFL needs to do. 80% would be the ideal percentage in my opinion.
Fix Input Delay
Input delay affects all sports games, but that doesn't mean it's not that big of a problem, or that it shouldn't be fixed. The current input delay in UFL is very bad, to put it nicely, and makes the game impossible to play sometimes.
Players take too long to turn, pass the ball, and shoot. The input delay is also very noticeable when you are moving your players on defense. Sometimes UFL feels completely unresponsible, which makes for a frustrating gaming experience.
Even if you are great at the game, with how bad the input delay currently is, you will find yourself trying to predict what the opponent will do, on both sides of the field.
It's something that makes the game unbearable to play, and that can definitely alienate players from UFL, especially if it's their first time playing a football game. While this isn't an easy issue to fix, UFL needs to do something about it, otherwise, it can be a huge detriment to the game.
