What Is Chivalry 2's Release Time?

Chivalry 2 is finally out and with it comes brutal multiplayer actions and tonnes of HD blood.

If you're looking to know a little more about how to spill that blood, check out our guide to Chivalry 2 classes here.

If you want to know when you can get playing and what the game's release time is, here's what you should know.

Latest - Server Issues

While the servers for Chivalry 2 are set to go live at 4pm BST/11am ET on June 8, players are reporting issues now that that time has arrived.

Players on most platforms, Xbox in particular, are saying that they're unable to find a game.

All we can recommend is you wait or keep trying. Tripwire Interactive confirmed that the servers would go live at the time stated above, so they must just be having some last minute issues.

Keep trying and hopefully you'll be able to get in without too many issues.

Release Date

Before knowing when the servers open, you should probably know the day the game comes out.

Luckily for you, the game comes out tomorrow, June 8th. You can preload the game right now, in advance of the official launch.

When do the Servers Go Live/Release Time?

Chivalry 2 servers are currently set to open at 8am PDT / 4pm BST tomorrow, June 8th. Of course, servers are prone to see issues, especially if large figures of players join at the same time. If it's an especially big launch, you could see the servers go down sporadically or face some issues.

If the servers aren't live when they are scheduled to go live, just wait a little bit for them to go back up and you should be ready to go. You can preload the game right now and get it ready to go.

Download Size

From PS4/Xbox to PS5/Series X, there's a slight change in size but these could change even more coming up the official launch. Clocking in around the 13GB range, you should have 20GB free on your console or PC in case any changes are made pre-launch.

If you play on PC, you can get the game for $10 cheaper due to the Epic Games Store Mega Sale, a nice little perk for PC players. With cross-play enabled, this will guarantee a few more players on launch to stab, bash and maim. Get in there and have fun.
