Watch Dogs Legion PC players have been waiting for online multiplayer features for a while now and after a sudden announcement last month, we all thought we'd be seeing them soon.

Now, Ubisoft has issued a minor delay in an effort to fix last-minute crashes. Here's what we know.

PC Version Delay

In relation to the PC version of Watch Dogs Legion online multiplayer, Ubisoft had the following to say:

" We identified an issue in the PC version that can cause the game to crash for players with certain GPUs. The team is working on fixing the issue as quickly as possible, and in the meantime, we've made the decision to wait to launch the PC version until this is fixed."

They haven't disclosed which GPUs are causing the crashes, perhaps because they don't know themselves, but this has led to a platform-wide delay.

No new release date has been specified at this time.

Console Tactical Ops Delay

In addition to this, there has been an update regarding the console version of the Watch Dogs Legion online multiplayer update due to drop on 9 March.

You can check out the Tweet from the Official Watch Dogs account below:

From what we know from the tweet above, it seems like there are some more unforeseen crashes that have caused the delay.

This means that, while the update is now due to launch on Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia on 9 March, the Tactical Ops feature will not.

That feature will now arrive on 23 March, provided Ubisoft can fix the issues.

In addition to this, though, PlayStation players will have to deal with limited in-game text chat features for the time being.

Ubisoft is working on a fix and the limited version will be dropping at the same time but no timeline for the fix has been provided.

In a post-Cyberpunk 2077 world, these delays seem like a "better safe than sorry" scenario and the team has continued to reinforce their desire to ship the best possible version of their game.
