LIVE NOW Warzone Update Patch Notes - All the weapon changes for September 15

Season 6 of Warzone, is only a matter of weeks away, but Raven are making some more weapon balance changes in an attempt to switch up the meta right now. To let you know what changes are being made, we have the full patch notes for the Warzone update going live on September 15 right here.

As of 4pm BST/11am ET, Raven has confirmed that the update has gone live.

You won't have to download a patch, but the update is live, including all the changes detailed below.

Warzone Update Patch Notes - September 15

Raven revealed the full patch notes in a tweet yesterday, including explanations for all the changes they're making. The OTs-9 and the Krig-6 have been really powerful in recent weeks, so they've taken steps to balance them a little more.

The September 15 Warzone update should go live at 4pm BST/11am ET this afternoon/morning. Keep checking Raven's Twitter for all the news. Thankfully, you shouldn't have to download anything, these changes will be made automatically.

We've outlined the main balance changes below, but you'll need to look at Raven's tweet above to check out the reasons for the changes.

Weapon Balancing Changes

AK-47 (BOCW)

  • Gun kick adjusted

FARA 83 (BOCW)

  • Maximum damage decreased from 29 to 25
  • Minimum damage decreased from 25 to 23
  • Head multiplier increased from 1.35 to 1.56
  • Neck multiplier increased from 1 to 1.2
  • Upper torso multiplier increased from 1 to 1.1

Krig 6 (BOCW)

  • Recoil increased
  • Neck multiplier decreased from 1.3 to 1.1

QBZ-83 (BOCW)

  • Recoil increased slightly.
  • Recoil dampening enabled.

OTs 9 (BOCW)

  • Recoil increased slightly.
  • Maximum damage decreased from 34 to 31
  • Minimum damage increased from 20 to 21
  • Headshot multiplier increased from 1.35 to 1.52
  • Neck multiplier decreased from 1.35 to 1

TEC-9 (BOCW)

  • Maximum damage decreased from 26 to 24
  • Minimum damage decreased 24 from 22
  • Neck multiplier increased from 1 to 1.1

Light Machine Gun Alpha (BOCW)

  • Recoil adjusted
  • Gun kick adjusted
  • Raise interrupt time increased from 0.8 to 1 second

Tactical Rifle Charlie (BOCW)

  • Recoil decreased slightly
