The Call of Duty mid-season 2 update provided some great new quality of life improvements and set up a blueprint for the future of the game but the next season has to follow suit. Here's what we know about it so far.

Provided there are no delays, as there were for Season 2, Warzone Pacific Season 3 will begin on Wednesday, April 27!

Latest Leaks & Event News

Very little information on Warzone Season 3 has leaked so far, with the start just a few weeks away.

There are suggestions that a footstep audio overhaul is coming as part of the update and we saw leaks about a King Kong event a few weeks ago.

The audio upgrade would be extremely welcome and would fit in with Raven's focus on quality of life changes over the last few weeks.

Everything has gone quiet on the event front, however. We don't think the King Kong event will come anytime soon, if it is even real.

Expect to see more leaks over the coming weeks, and we'll keep you updated on what's rumoured to be added in the update.

Patch Notes

One of the main things people will be looking forward to from Warzone Pacific Season 3 update is the patch notes that'll hopefully switch up the meta.

While we don't have the patch notes, and won't until the week of Season 3's release, we know that some significant changes are coming.

In a interview with the Baka Bros, Ted Timmins, the Senior Creative Director at Raven Software, said that a meta shift is coming for Warzone.

How exactly the alterations will change the game, we're not sure, but maybe we'll start to see snipers other than the MW Kar98k and the Swiss used in Caldera and Rebirth Island.

Maybe it'll be time for the HDR and AX-50 to make their glorious return.

As soon as we hear more on what Raven has planned for Season 3 and what else is in the patch notes, we'll be sure to update you.
