Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 not only brings about a new version of the popular Battle Royale but it also introduces a brand-new map, Al Mazrah.
Described by the developers as "the biggest [Battle Royale] map" they've ever made, Al Mazrah is set in the "desert of a fictional region of Western Asia." It's big and it's diverse with its usage of land, topography, and inclusion of water with the new water system coming to Call of Duty with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 coming on November 16.
This means that there will be plenty of POIs, or Points of Interest, for players to fight for.
Warzone 2.0 Al Mazrah Map & POIs REVEALED
Undoubtedly one of Activision's biggest creations yet is the Al Mazrah map coming in Warzone 2.0.
Ranging from cities filled with buildings, including some familiar fan-favorite locations as well as bays and docks that take advantage of the brand-new water system, there is a wide variety of POIs players can bring the fight to. With a whopping 18 total POIs, Al Mazrah is a massive shakeup for the series.
To top it all off, the map and some of its POIs will also be littered with Strongholds defended by AI enemies that are part of a new faction, giving the Battle Royale, and Al Mazrah, some extra life.
