Warzone 2 Interrogation

A brand new mechanic threatening to shake up Warzone 2 considerably is interrogation. Leaked some time ago and confirmed by the Call of Duty blog, the new system will allow you to get intel from downed enemies.

When approaching a downed enemy, you'll get a prompt to interrogate them, similar to finishing moves from Warzone 1. This will grant you an XP reward, as well as intel about where their teammates are lurking and is likely to work much like a low-range UAV.

Given the animation time, this is likely to be a high-risk, high-reward strategy, that could make or break a manoeuvre. When paired with the new proximity chat though, it is likely to provide much entertainment either way in Warzone 2.

Proximity Chat will also be making an appearance in the new Warzone, and will take trash talk to a whole new level. You'll be able to communicate with enemies close enough to hear, to simulate the battlefield itself.

This is a great way to have a laugh with your squad in Warzone 2, or a great way to mess with a team holed up in a building. Whether it will last as a feature remains to be seen, but for the launch, it will be present and correct.
