If you're not a fan of battling the undead, then this update might not be for you. Treyarch's "115 Day" plans revealed
We know it isn't too specific, but Treyarch has confirmed that we're going to get a mid-season update for Vanguard - Season One Reloaded - next week. This is the first confirmation we've seen from a Call of Duty studio and we can't wait to find out what's coming.
As you can see above, we're getting an update on January 11th - so, we should see some information arrive in the next few days. Keep your eyes peeled and we'll make sure we keep you updated with the latest information when it's available.
When should Season One Reloaded drop?
We don't have too much information regarding the release date of Vanguard's next major update right now, but it should arrive at the rough middle-point of the current season.
With Vanguard Season One starting on December 8th, we should see the Season One Reloaded update arrive between January 6th and January 13th - although, depending on your timezone you might be able to play this on January 5th or January 12th.
Call of Duty's seasonal updates always arrive at the following times of day:
- 21:00 PST
- 00:00 EST (The next day)
- 05:00 GMT (The next day)
So... You might see conflicting release dates due to this - however, it all boils down to the fact that we should see Vanguard's Season One Reloaded update release in the second week of the New Year - give or take a few days.
What are we expecting to see from this?
At the moment, a lot of what to expect from Sledgehammer Games in the mid-season Season One Reloaded update is up in the air - however, not all of it is unknowns.
We should see Isabella finally released as the third and final new Operator for Vanguard Season One. She's going to be available in a purchasable Store Bundle with Tracer Fire weapons - as far as we know - and we're expecting this to be within one week of the Vanguard Season One Reloaded update. This should cost 2,400 COD Points.
In addition to this, the long-rumoured Attack on Titan collaborative content bundle should be arriving in the in-game store at some point following the Season One Reloaded update. This is going to add an Attack on Titan-themed melee weapon blueprint and reportedly an Operator skin for Daniel - among other minor cosmetics like an Emblem and Calling Card. We don't know how much this is going to be just yet, but it could also be around 2,400 COD Points given the fact that it's crossover content.
The rest of Vanguard Season One Reloaded's content is a little up in the air - we're expecting another new multiplayer map and possibly another new weapon, but these could be additions saved for the Season Two update. Similarly, we would like to see a new game mode added - something to keep things fresh - but Vanguard doesn't necessarily need this.
Vanguard's Zombies mode is the place where we need to see real change and at the moment, all we're expecting is another area - Von List's Office - to be added to Der Anfang. There are rumours that the Ray-Gun might be making a return, but it's hard to imagine that this would save the troubled game mode from its lacklustre start.
