In an end-of-year letter to the Valorant community, Leo Faria, the Global Head of Valorant Esports, highlighted the success of VCT 2023 and shared exciting news for esports fans!

It was revealed that VCT Team Bundles will launch in February 2024, finally allowing fans to acquire team-branded cosmetics to support their favourite players, a long-awaited addition that's been high on the wishlist of Valorant esports enthusiasts.

VALORANT's esports ecosystem witnessed significant growth in 2023, with over $33 million shared with teams through digital items, more than 2021 and 2022 combined.

Pro players and coaches have also benefited from this growth, with teams distributing over $12 million and Riot paying over $3 million in prize pools.

To further support teams and players, Riot Games will launch VCT team bundles in February 2024, allowing fans to purchase team-branded gun skins and goodies. The bundles will be available throughout the entire season.

While specific release dates for these VCT team skins haven't been provided, Faria confirmed that the kickoff tournaments would commence on 19 Feb for the Americas, 17 Feb for the Pacific, 20 Feb for EMEA, and 22 Feb for the first season of VCT China.

Every team in the International Leagues will receive a full VCT team bundle, including newly promoted Ascension teams.

VALORANT esports is thriving, with substantial revenue sharing and player compensation, and VCT team bundles offer a new way for fans to support their favourite teams and contribute to the esports ecosystem!
