The Last Of Us is one of the most beloved series' by PlayStation fans.
First releasing back in 2013, The Last Of Us 1 later saw a remaster on Ps4 in 2014 and is now set to receive a full remake.

The Announcement
According to a Bloomberg report, Sony is currently working on a remake of The Last Of Us which will release exclusively on PlayStation 5.
It is said that the remake was started by a team of 30 developers creating it in secret before Sony stepped in and gave the project to Naughty Dog, the creators of the original game.
Although nothing has been said by Sony regarding the remake, this report confirms its existence and that it is likely still in development.
Release Date
No release date has been given yet, in fact, the game hasn't even been officially acknowledged by Sony or Naughty Dog, but we will likely see an announcement during E3 or a future State of Play event.
Platforms
It is being reported that The Last Of Us Remake will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive.

As the game hasn't been officially announced yet there is no trailer for the game.

The Last Of Us TV Series
HBO is set to produce a The Last Of Us TV series based on the original story.
Filming is set to begin in July 2021, so we can expect it to begin releasing either late 2021 or sometime in 2022.
So far we know that Pedro Pascal will be playing Joel, while Bella Ramsey has been cast as Ellie.
The TV series is said to follow the events of the first game and will likely follow into the second game too, with some extra storytelling added in as well.
Here is the synopsis for the series.
"Twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed, Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival."
