Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is now underway, bringing various challenges to the game for you to complete, some of which involve wolves.
Along the way, you'll come across wild animals, including wolves, which you can tame to have fight alongside you for the rest of the game.
So that you can get yourself a furry sidekick, here's everything you need to know about how to tame wolves in Fortnite Season 6.
How to Tame a Wolf in Fortnite
Before actually taming one, you're obviously going to have to find a wolf to tame.
That's pretty easy, thankfully, as they're roaming many of the woodland areas of Season 6's map.

You'll need to land somewhere, grab a gun, and go hunting. Wolves move about in packs of at least two, so keep your wits about you.
You should be able to hear their howls when they're nearby too, so they shouldn't be too tough to find.
Once you've found some wolves, you'll need to kill them until there's just one left.
The remaining wolf should then eat the meat that was dropped by the wolf you just killed. You can throw the meat towards them if not.

While they're eating, approach them and you'll find that a "tame" option appears.
Simply hold the right button down and you'll tame the wolf.
You should then see that the animal has some pink hearts above its head briefly, is glowing a dark pink, and has a white arrow above it.
Those three things show that it is tamed and will attack enemies on your behalf.
If it dies in battle, you will be able to tame a different one and continue you attempt for a Victory Royale.
This process also works with some of the other animals in the game, and more creatures are set to be added to the game throughout Season 6, so get your hunting skills nailed down.
