Power up, team up, and one up in order to save the Sprixie Kingdom in Super Mario 3D World.
Early reviews have come from the revered Japanese magazine Famitsu and paint an interesting picture of this Wii U Original.

What's interesting is that this is a bit less than the original Wii U release, which scored a near-perfect 38/40.
Famitsu also gave Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch a lower score than its' original Wii U release. So, does Famitsu just really like the Wii U?
One Of The Lowest Rated Super Mario Games
Shockingly, even with a 36/40, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is one of the lowest-rated Mario games on the Nintendo Switch at the moment.
In the past, Famitsu gave the following Nintendo Switch Mario games the following:
- Super Mario Odyssey: 39/40
- Super Mario Galaxy: 38/40
- Super Mario Galaxy 2: 37/40
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe: 32/40
Despite this lower review score, Famitsu praised the added online play and found that they were impressed by the replayability of the challenging new Bowser's Fury mode.
Bowser's Fury
You might be wondering... What is Bowser's Fury?
Bowser's Fury is a "short but action-packed" free-roam adventure that has players teaming up with Bowser Jr.?!
You read that right. Mario has to travel to the cat-themed Lake Lapcat and help save the world from Bowser's fury.
In this mode, Bowser Jr. can be controlled via a second player in co-op. The two must traverse the world collecting Cat Shines in order to drive back the darkness threatening the terrain.
Super Mario 3D World
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is the same, incredible co-op game that boasts an improved take on all the same levels and power-ups.
In the Super Mario 3D World part of the game, characters move faster and the dash powers up more quickly. Both adventures support the newly added Snapshot Mode—pause the action to get the perfect shot, apply filters, and decorate with stamps!
Super Mario 3D World isn't your ordinary Super Mario game, though! Players can choose from Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad.
Not only this, but each character plays differently too! For example, Luigi can jump higher than the others and Peach can float.
