The PGA TOUR 2K25 gameplay trailer has been officially revealed, and it did a fantastic job of increasing the hype surrounding the game, whose release date isn't that far off.
It showcased vastly improved graphics, gave us a first look at the EvoSwing mechanic, Skill Trees, and new MyCAREER features. PGA TOUR 2K25 was already one of the most anticipated sports games of 2025, but this trailer took the fan's excitement to a new level.
An Incredibly Looking Game
2K had already talked about the graphical improvements coming in PGA TOUR 2K25, and this trailer not only confirmed that but also exceeded expectations.
The game looks astonishing, with players, the crowd, and the landscape, looking very realistic. This has a huge positive impact on the atmosphere of the game, as it makes it feel more immersive.
This is only a trailer, but the graphics, combined with the realistic crowd reactions and on-point commentary, make it seem PGA TOUR 2K25 will be able to deliver a very immersive experience. It seems like it almost makes you feel like you are actually taking a swing at the U.S. Open or the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
EvoSwing Is a Revolutionary Feature
We finally got a first look at the EvoSwing feature, and I must confess, it looked quite good. EvoSwing will introduce new shot types, roll physics, and ball flights, among other things, to make swings look as realistic as possible.
This new feature has four components, contact, rhythm, transition, and swing path, which will be calculated on every one of your swings, and impact them positively or negatively.
Perfect Swing is also making its debut in PGA TOUR 2K25. It's a new difficulty setting that "reduces the material impact of external factors on a player’s swing", making it great for new players.
2K has added similar features to NBA 2K, with the intent to also make the game more accessible for new players, and make the learning curve overwhelming.
All in all, this was a fantastic trailer, as it succeeded in showcasing all of the new features, at least the main ones, and created even more excitement about the game in the community.
