Overwatch 2 has officially had its first trailer revealed for the first new season of the game.
There have been some outlines for new content added, as well as how some key functions will work.
Recently there has been some upset within the Overwatch community about how the second game will run.
However, this may change with all the new content that is coming to the community.
So, let's take a look at what new information we received about season one of Overwatch 2.

New season one cosmetics
Within the first season of Overwatch 2, there will be some new content added for players to work towards.
These include new skins, heroes, and charms. There are even some new mythic and legendary skins thrown in there too.
Sojourn and Junker Queen will be unlocked immediately with the new season with Kiriko being unlocked immediately for OW1 players.
Season one will also bring the release of the first-ever Overwatch 2 battle pass.
Battle pass content
The battle pass will bring even more content to the game with many more cosmetics.
New heroes
Kiriko will be a free reward included with the battle pass which players will have to work towards by playing games.
New Overwatch 2 cosmetics
Cosmetic goods such as skins, charms, souvenirs, and more will also be added to the battle pass.
This means that players will be able to work their way through to unlock these items permanently.
Premium upgrade
A premium upgrade is also available which will bring extra perks to Overwatch 2 players.
Instant unlocks include
- Kiriko
- Cyber Pachimari charm
- D.va EDM Skin
Some new legendary skins are also included for Kiriko, Sojourn, and Junker Queen.
The premium upgrade doesn't end there though.
Premium players will also be able to get unique cosmetic charms, sprays, souvenirs and player icons.
Best of all, is the new Genji skin, Cyber Demon Genji.
