Sonic the Hedgehog is officially joining the Olympics Video Game, and it's not exactly a natural looking costume addition.
Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game is ready to land on multiple platforms, and this news just adds to the excitement about this upcoming title.
Sonic the Hedgehog joins Olympics Video Game
After revealing the game yesterday, we know a classic Olympics Video Game character will be joining the fray for this release.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has been a solid franchise for Nintendo since the title's launch back on the Wii in 2007, but this time it's Sonic hopping into the official title.
Rather than looking like the Sonic character we know and love, this is instead a full-body Sonic costume that players will be able to have their character wear in Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game.
It won't be the only place players can soon get back in the red and white shoes of their favorite blue hedgehog, as a new Sonic game is being teased for 2022.
